Mazda House acerca Japón a Madrid y estrena en España el nuevo Mazda CX-6e

This May, Madrid becomes a miniature showcase of Japan thanks to Mazda House – A Walk Through Japan, an immersive exhibition organized by Mazda that offers a sensory journey through some of the cultural and philosophical pillars that inspire the brand. The free-admission event is open to the public until May 24 at the Fundación Ortega Marañón, located in the heart of Madrid’s Chamberí district.

The initiative goes far beyond a conventional exhibition. Under the concept “The Path of Harmony (Wa no Dō),” Mazda has created a space designed for pausing, observing, and experiencing the relationship between design, craftsmanship, nature, and movement—elements deeply rooted in Japanese culture and Mazda’s own identity.

**A Journey into the Essence of Japan**

The exhibition blends artistic installations, audiovisual experiences, and participatory activities to bring visitors a contemporary vision of Japan. The route explores concepts such as the pursuit of harmony, the beauty of artisanal processes, and the connection between people and their surroundings. Throughout the visit, there are constant references to Japanese philosophy applied to design and daily life, from the value of detail to the importance of balance and serenity.

The experience is complemented by a parallel cultural program that includes workshops on Kokedama, Origami, and Kintsugi, as well as concerts featuring the Koto—a traditional Japanese string instrument—and talks centered on Japanese philosophy, art, and lifestyle.

Mazda also uses the space to reinforce this immersive idea through dynamic test drives of its lineup. On Fridays and weekends, attendees can get behind the wheel of various Mazda models and experience firsthand the Jinba Ittai philosophy—the deep connection between driver and vehicle that has historically defined the brand.

The exhibition is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Fundación Ortega Marañón, located at Calle Fortuny 53, Madrid. Admission is free, but advance online reservation of an invitation is required.

**The Mazda CX-6e Makes Its Spanish Debut Within the Exhibition**

The major automotive highlight of Mazda House is the Spanish debut of the new Mazda CX-6e, a fully electric SUV that the brand has integrated into the exhibition itself as an extension of its design and technology vision. The model adopts a rear-wheel-drive configuration and is powered by a 78 kWh LFP battery. It delivers 258 hp (190 kW) and a maximum torque of 290 Nm, aiming to strike a balance between range and everyday practicality. The homologated range reaches 484 kilometers, while DC fast charging supports up to 195 kW, allowing the battery to go from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes.

Mazda also highlights the onboard experience. The CX-6e features a 23-speaker sound system with Bluetooth‑integrated speakers in the headrests, designed to create a more immersive and personalized cabin atmosphere.

The lineup presented at Mazda House is structured around the Takumi trim level, reflecting the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail.
