After leaving Tottenham Hotspur (England) in August last year, Son joined LAFC with a record MLS transfer fee of $26.5 million. Now in his second season in the league, his salary places him second overall. Unsurprisingly, Lionel Messi (Inter Miami) tops the list with an annual salary of $28,333,333 (approx. 423 billion won)—about 2.5 times higher than Son’s.
