Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov jokingly poured water on Paris Saint-Germain’s goalkeeping coach Borja Alvarez while sitting on the bench during the Ligue 1 match against Brest (1-0) in the 33rd round. 
Safonov’s wife, Marina Kondratyuk, shared a video from the match in which the broadcast showed the goalkeeper on the substitutes’ bench. In the clip, Safonov playfully douses the Spanish coach with water when he isn’t looking. Alvarez turns around, thinking water is dripping from the roof. Marina captioned the post: “Mine is messing around. Rofling.” 
Safonov did not play in the match against Brest; PSG goalkeeper Renato Marin started instead. The Russian’s current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2029. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is €22 million.
