Seven-time world champion and snooker legend, 50-year-old Englishman Ronnie O’Sullivan, has become the World Seniors Snooker champion. In the final match, he convincingly defeated 51-year-old Joe Perry with a score of 10:4. During the final, O’Sullivan produced five century breaks: 100, 110, 113, 129, and 131 points.
Earlier, in the semifinals, O’Sullivan beat Robert Milkins (7:5), while Craig Steadman lost to Joe Perry (5:7).
The World Seniors Snooker Championship took place in Sheffield, England. The 50-year-old Ronnie O’Sullivan claimed his first World Seniors title in his career. He has previously won the professional World Championship seven times and also became the World Amateur Under-21 champion in 1991.
